Understanding Personalities

Knowing yourself well and understanding how others function is essential to forming strong relationships. A working knowledge of personality type greatly enhances your leadership management and people development skills.

The Lakeland Group uses The People Process© as the model for deepening your understanding of yourself and others.

Psychological Type is a theory of personality developed by Swiss psychiatrist Dr. Carl Jung (1875-1961) to explain individuals’ differences in behavior. The mother and daughter team of Katherine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers further developed Jung’s theory during WWII, creating the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

The People Process© further simplifies the understanding and application of psychological type by using a graphic assessment instrument (People Process© Wheel) that provides for both self-reporting and the Input of others.

Knowledge is power. Deepening your self-knowledge builds confidence and provides the foundation for your recognizing and appreciating the personality patterns of others.
